According to Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, enterprises ensure stable jobs for workers. Since the beginning of the year, more than 5,000 enterprises have a need to recruit more than 60,000 workers. Units have provided job consultation and introduction to more than 95,300 people (an increase of 95% compared to the same period in 2023).
Notably, at the end of 2024, businesses in Binh Duong continued to find many orders and had large orders. Currently, businesses are expanding production and recruiting more workers. Thanks to that, the labor market at the end of the year in Binh Duong is quite vibrant.
Mr. Bui Minh Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of Poong In Vina Co., Ltd. - said that the company's orders are currently abundant enough for workers to produce regularly and have overtime to increase their income.
To ensure production, the company is recruiting 1,000 more workers and posting jobs continuously. The company has a policy of supporting referrals with 1 million VND/worker when recruited. Recruited workers will receive 2 million VND from the company in the first month in addition to basic salary and other allowances.
Need about 15,000 more workers
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that it is forecasted that Binh Duong will need to recruit about 10,000-15,000 workers from now until the end of the year. Manufacturing industries that recruit a lot of workers include garment, mechanical, and electronics. In addition, the service and sales sectors also need to recruit workers in the months before Tet. Thus, it is forecasted that the Binh Duong labor market will continue to develop in the coming months with many new job opportunities being created.
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Employment Service Center, the demand for unskilled labor is still high. This year, in the last months of the year, the demand for seasonal labor during Tet is forecast to be more limited. Meanwhile, the demand for freelance, short-term, seasonal jobs without insurance will tend to increase.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province has directed units to strengthen solutions to connect labor supply and demand. Focus on promoting job counseling and referral, regularly collecting and grasping timely information on labor supply and demand so that it can forecast and propose feasible and effective tasks and solutions for the labor market in the context of the current constantly changing and fluctuating labor market...

According to the assessment, this year, it is more difficult for businesses in Binh Duong to recruit workers than last year. The reason is that the labor force from other provinces coming to Binh Duong to work is less, while the demand for labor recruitment of businesses is higher than last year. Currently, businesses are implementing a plan to take care of workers during Tet, support those in difficulty and encourage the working spirit of the entire business. In addition, the trade union organization in Binh Duong is also implementing a plan to take care of union members and workers. Thereby, in order to stabilize the lives of workers at the end of 2024 and by 2025, workers will return to Binh Duong to continue participating in production.
