Training for nearly 250 union officials of departments, ministries and branches

On November 21, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union coordinated with the Ministry of Home Affairs to organize a training conference for nearly 250 union officials from central departments, ministries, branches and organizations.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union - said that the training conference was held from November 21-23.

At the conference, delegates listened to the reporter convey the content of the topics: The era of national rise associated with institutional reform in our country; Law on Social Insurance; key tasks of the State administrative reform program in the current period; thinking, vision and skills of trade union officials in the context of promoting administrative reform; skills in performing the task of representing, caring for and protecting the rights of workers.

"We hope that with the knowledge gained, union officials will organize implementation, continue to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to effectively carry out administrative reform work at agencies and units.

From there, we will build a team of civil servants, public employees and workers who meet the requirements of assigned tasks, contributing to the effective implementation of administrative reform tasks in the coming time," said Mr. Nguyen Van Dong.

Within the framework of the program, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union signed a cooperation agreement on the Welfare Program for union members with 5 companies: Nhat Viet Medical Technology Joint Stock Company - Hanoi Branch; HT Pham Nguyen Garment Joint Stock Company; Thien Moc Import-Export Trade Investment Group Company Limited; Newstar One Member Company Limited; GB LIFE GLOBAL Import-Export Trade Lottery Company.

Representatives of the parties agreed on the content, methods and principles of cooperation, in which they affirmed that the cooperation agreement aims to coordinate and provide preferential programs and products exclusively for cadres and union members of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
