Training on skills to organize cultural and sports activities for union officials

Kiều Vũ |

Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports to organize a training course to improve professional skills for union officials in charge of culture, arts, and sports in the City's Trade Union system.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the training course was organized with the hope that officials in charge of culture, arts, physical education and sports at all levels of the City Trade Union will grasp and apply the skills of organizing mass sports competitions, effectively improving the effectiveness of physical education and sports activities for union members and workers at agencies and units. Thereby effectively implementing cultural, artistic and physical education and sports activities, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set for 2024 and the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023 - 2028 term.

In addition, more than 200 union officials were instructed in photography, image processing, news gathering and editing skills, and articles in union media; instructed on methods for building sports clubs, organizing mass sports activities, and sports activities at the grassroots level, etc.

According to the union officials participating in the training course, the above knowledge is very useful for organizing activities to improve the spiritual life and health of union members and workers at the grassroots level. It is not only a method of organization but also a way to recognize and understand the needs of union members and workers for cultural and sports activities that relieve stress and connect, and are also opportunities for union members and workers to express themselves...

The demand for participation in culture, sports, and health improvement of union members and workers, especially in enterprises with a large number of workers, is currently very high. There are places where grassroots union officials are still confused in organizing and implementing cultural, physical education and sports activities effectively. Grassroots union officials themselves also make great efforts to learn and gain experience from other units. Therefore, training courses on skills and techniques for organizing cultural activities and sports competitions professionally, such as the one organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, are very necessary and need to be expanded based on the needs of grassroots unions to serve the wishes of union members and workers.
