Trade union officials accompany union members
Not only present through peach branches and five-fruit trays, Tet this year is also very close to trade union members through the Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 program in online form, a market that does not need to go down the mountain, but is still full of sharing.
Right from the opening of the shopping gate, the online Trade Union Tet Market has quickly spread among grassroots trade unions. This is the 3rd year that the VGCL has organized the online Tet market model.
Information from the Lang Son Provincial Labor Federation, the 2026 implementation plan, the whole province has 2,050 union members supported to participate in the Trade Union Tet Market with shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND/person, integrated directly according to registered phone numbers.
The beneficiaries who are prioritized are union members in difficult circumstances, low incomes and people with outstanding achievements in labor and production. Notably, the number of union members supported this year accounts for 17.4% of the total number of trade union members in the whole province, an increase of more than 11% compared to 2025.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Luong Chi Cong, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial Labor Federation, Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province said: "Immediately after having the plan of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Federation directed grassroots trade unions to urgently propagate, review subjects and prepare conditions to support union members throughout the procurement process.
The new point this year is that trade union officials not only guide but also directly support purchases for union members who are not familiar with technology operations or do not have much time. This is to ensure that all benefits reach the right people, the right subjects. To master the process, nearly 50 purchase vouchers have been issued to the team of trade union officials to try and get acquainted from the login, installation to selection and ordering stages.
Zalo group "market fair" in the technology era
In many units, Zalo shopping groups are set up separately, becoming places to share experiences and guide union members step by step.
At the Cao Loc Regional Health Center, Mr. Hoang Van Kiem, Vice Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union, said that as soon as the market opened, the unit arranged officials to directly support union members in operation. "Up to now, all union members of the unit have successfully purchased goods, workers are extremely excited and clearly feel the concern of the Trade Union," Mr. Kiem informed.
Through the website and the Trade Union Tet Market application, union members can choose about 2,000 items, from food, clothes to household goods, at prices 10% to 41% lower than the market. Products are all quality controlled, prioritizing Vietnamese goods produced and distributed by reputable businesses, meeting the essential needs of each family during Tet.
The Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 will last until March 4, 2026. For workers in the highlands, the Trade Union Tet Market is not only a shopping place, but also a testament to the innovation in the way the trade union organization works - more modern, more flexible, but still maintaining closeness and sharing.
In the early spring cold of Lang land, that companionship has made Tet come sooner and warmer for each union member.
