At the conference, Mr. Vu Duc Dung - Chairman of Gia Vien Ward Trade Union - informed about the results of trade union activities and the CNVCLĐ movement in the ward in 2025, and orientations and tasks for 2026.

Over the past year, the contingent of CNVCLĐ of Gia Vien ward continued to develop in quantity, improve in quality, meeting the requirements of the ward's construction in a civilized and modern direction. The material and spiritual life situation of workers is increasingly improved.

The Ward Trade Union has propagated and mobilized to establish 5 new grassroots trade unions, admitting 306 union members, raising the total number of grassroots trade unions managed by the Ward Trade Union to 134 units with 6,092 union members. Patriotic emulation movements continue to spread strongly, arousing the spirit of creative labor in the workforce, contributing to improving productivity, quality and making positive contributions to the development of enterprises. In 2025, 26 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements were commended by trade union levels.

Promoting the achieved results, in 2026, Gia Vien Ward Trade Union focuses on 9 key tasks and targets: developing an increase of at least 100 union members; introducing at least 70 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and fostering for admission. 85% or more of union members and workers are propagated, disseminated, studied, and thoroughly grasped the Party's guidelines and resolutions, policies and laws on labor and trade unions; at least 65% of workers study to improve their qualifications and professional skills. At least 85% of units are eligible to negotiate and sign collective labor agreements...

In the jubilant atmosphere of the last days of the year, Gia Vien Ward Trade Union also organized the Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party 2026 program. At the program, Gia Vien Ward Trade Union received 553 million VND from the Hai Phong City Labor Federation as gifts, allowances, bus tickets, and Tet Trade Union Market vouchers for workers and employees in difficult circumstances in the area. The total number of union members cared for by the city during Tet is 632 people. Gia Vien Ward Trade Union also gave many Tet gifts to union members and workers; organized lucky draws with many valuable gifts at the program.
