Responding to the " Peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; introducing outstanding union members to the Party" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CFF) has directed its affiliated unions at all levels to resolutely implement and achieve many positive results.
During the peak month, trade unions at all levels have stepped up propaganda, surveys, mobilization and directly supported workers and enterprises in establishing trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
As a result, the whole province established 4 new grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector, including 2 grassroots trade unions under the Nguyen Binh District Labor Federation, 1 grassroots trade union under the Cao Bang City Labor Federation with 6 union members, 1 grassroots trade union under the Ha Quang District Labor Federation.
All new grassroots trade unions were established according to the correct procedures, with the right subjects, elected Executive Committees and soon put into operation.
The establishment of trade unions at enterprises has contributed to creating a legal basis to represent, care for, and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; at the same time, it is a bridge to build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations at the workplace.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important milestone, affirming that workers' rights are protected, while laying the foundation for active labor relations in enterprises.
The Vice Chairman of the provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the initiative of the workers and the coordination of the enterprise in the process of establishing a trade union organization, and suggesting the new Executive Committee to be proactive, creative and develop a plan to operate practically, close to reality.
