Information from the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Cao Bang province, comrade Hoang Dinh Giong is a Tay ethnic group, born on June 1, 1904, in Na Toan hamlet, Xuan Phach commune (now De Tham ward, Cao Bang city).
He participated in revolutionary activities since 1926, was admitted to the Party in 1929 and was elected Secretary of the Long Chau Export Processing Party Cell.
Under his direction, the first Communist Party Cell of Cao Bang province was established. In 2015, he was elected to the Central Party Standing Committee at the 1st National Party Congress in Ma occupation (China) and was assigned to be in charge of the 4th Bac Ky Party Committee.




From February 1936/10.1944, he was arrested by the enemy. Thanks to his skillful struggle, Hoang Dinh Giong was released from prison and returned to Vietnam to continue his activities.
The August Revolution of 1945 was successful, he met Uncle Ho and was assigned the task of Commanding the Southern Army to advance to the South to defeat the French colonialists. In 1947, he died in Area VI (Ninh Thuan).

Throughout his life, comrade Hoang Dinh Giong has always clearly shown the spirit of openness, the indomitable and indomitable will of the communist people. His revolutionary activities are closely linked to the revolutionary movement of his hometown Cao Bang and the whole country.
Head of the Propaganda Department and the people of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, Thanh Tinh, once emphasized: "The life and glorious revolutionary career of comrade Hoang Dinh Giong is the motivation for Cao Bang to promote internal resources, solidarity, creating unity about the will and actions throughout the Party, the government and the people, contributing to the successful completion of the Resolution of the XIX Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025".

Recognizing their great contributions and contributions, the Party and State have posthumously awarded comrade Hoang Dinh Giong the Ho Chi Minh Medal (1998); the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces (2009). He was recognized as a typical predecessor leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution (2018).
In terms of locality, the people of the Cao Bang ethnic groups and De Tham ward in particular always strive to protect and build their homeland to be more and more beautiful.
According to the record, Cao Bang province is oriented to develop De Tham ward to become a new, synchronous, multi-functional complex center. Here, projects such as the Provincial Administrative Center, New Urban Area, Exhibition Center, Headquarters of a series of key provincial agencies are all located here.
Mr. La Huy Man - Chairman of De Tham Ward People's Committee said that in 2024, the ward achieved many positive results: budget revenue of over 7 billion VND (104.8% of the plan); the value of industrial production, handicrafts - construction reached 28 billion VND; commercial revenue was over 934 billion VND, all reached 100% of the plan.

Business models, individuals, and small businesses create jobs and contribute to the budget. Poverty reduction, social security, culture, education, health care are of interest; poor households still have 0.63%...
Regarding Na Toan hamlet (now group 8, De Tham ward) - the hometown and place of comrade Hoang Dinh Giong Memorial Site, everyone feels the change in spacious infrastructure and wide roads.
Party Cell Secretary of Group 8 Hoang Thi Thoi said that, promoting revolutionary traditions, people are actively transforming production models, applying new techniques, increasing income, reducing poverty, and building model residential areas.
