According to Decision No. 572/QD-LDLD, Hai Phong City Labor Federation transferred the status quo of 389 grassroots trade unions under the Hai Phong Education Trade Union, Hai Phong Health Trade Union, Hai Phong Construction Trade Union, Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, Transport Trade Union, Civil Servants' Trade Union and City Industry and Trade Union to work at the Party Agency Trade Union and Hai Phong City People's Committee Trade Union, Labor Federations of districts and towns. Of which, 56 grassroots unions with 13,562 union members were transferred to the Hai Phong City People's Committee Trade Union.
At the conference, the Hai Phong City People's Committee Trade Union received 56 units. At the same time, the Executive Committee of the City People's Committee Trade Union was launched with 15 members; the list of the Standing Committee of 5 members and the Inspection Committee of the City People's Committee Trade Union with 5 members were announced. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoa - former Chairman of the Hai Phong Industry and Trade Trade Union holds the position of Chairman of the City People's Committee Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong City People's Committee Trade Union to urgently complete legal procedures so that grassroots trade unions can operate stably. In the immediate future, units will focus on activities in response to Workers' Month 2025, focusing on developing union members and taking care of the lives of union members and workers.
