The average bonus for Lunar New Year 2025 is 12.7 million VND/person, higher than that for Lunar New Year 2024 (12.3 million VND/person).
Ms. Luong Thi Toi - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City - said that the New Year bonus is only 3.4 million VND/person, lower than the 2024 New Year bonus of 4.7 million VND.
There are 737 enterprises (accounting for 47%), in addition to Tet bonuses, there are many practical forms of support for employees such as giving Tet gifts, shopping vouchers, lucky money, organizing shuttle buses to go home for Tet, organizing year-end parties and visiting employees in difficult circumstances, organizing Tet celebrations for employees who are not able to return home during Tet.
