At Song Than 3 Industrial Park (Phu Tan Ward, Thu Dau Mot City), some businesses send human resources staff to the entrance of the industrial park to welcome workers early in the morning. Some businesses still hang recruitment signs at the entrance gate, such as UE Furniture Vietnam Joint Stock Company (wooden furniture manufacturing) which hangs a recruitment sign in front of the gate. The company needs to recruit 300 sewing workers, nailers and general workers. The company offers an attractive income of 10-15 million VND/month.
In Di An city, Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. is also recruiting about 300 workers for two factories. Due to labor shortage, the company is accepting applications and continuously recruiting.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province said that the recruitment demand in the last months of the year is about 10,000-15,000 workers. Manufacturing industries that recruit a lot of workers include garment, mechanical, and electronics.
Besides, the service and sales sectors also need to recruit workers in the months before Tet.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Luong - Director of Duc Luong Labor Supply Company Limited - shared: "Currently, industrial production in Binh Duong is recovering positively. However, manufacturing enterprises are having a hard time recruiting workers. Labor supply companies are also having difficulty recruiting workers at present."
According to statistics from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province, currently over 1,670 enterprises have plans to give Tet bonuses in 2025. The early announcement of Tet bonuses and preferential policies by enterprises will help stabilize the labor force at the end of the year.
Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - President of Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor - said that the Trade Union is taking care of workers during Tet. This year, trade unions at all levels have spent 272 billion VND to take care of union members in difficult circumstances. Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor has proposed that Binh Duong province spend an additional 50 billion VND to support 50,000 workers in difficult circumstances who cannot return home. Through this support, the labor force will be stabilized and after Tet, more workers will return to Binh Duong, meeting the recruitment and production needs of businesses.
