After the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, many businesses in industrial parks in Bac Giang province returned to work on February 3 with the rate of workers returning to work being 85-90%.

On February 3, Mr. Ngo Duc Thang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks in Bac Giang province - said that through a quick report from the grassroots trade unions, basically all enterprises returned to production activities from February 3. However, some enterprises gave employees the rest of February 4 off and returned to work on February 5.

In addition, the rate of employees returning to work of enterprises reached 85 - 90%. Some units have a rate of employees returning to work reaching 100% such as: Utech Vina Company; Fuyu Precision Technology Co., Ltd.; Mooroc Printec Vina Co., Ltd....

Ms. Nguyen Thi Duong - a worker at an electronics company in Quang Chau Industrial Park said that she moved from her hometown in Yen Bai to her rented house on February 2 and started her first day of work on February 3. "In the new year, I hope the company will have stable jobs and many orders; I will get a basic salary increase to have a stable income and ensure my family's life," Ms. Duong shared.

In order for workers to be attached to the Trade Union organization and stabilize their jobs at the enterprise, grassroots trade unions have implemented many practical care activities for union members and workers. Recently, before the Lunar New Year 2025, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Luxshare - ICT Van Trung Company (Bac Giang province) directly visited the homes of union members and workers of the company in difficult circumstances in remote provinces.

According to Mr. Bui Van Truong - Chairman of the company's grassroots union, the activity of directly visiting the homes of union members and employees working at the company to visit and give gifts has become a tradition of the grassroots union executive committee since its establishment.

To conduct these trips to visit and give gifts, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union reviewed and counted the union members in difficulty throughout the factory, then selected the union members in the most difficulty and those who lived far away to visit and give gifts directly. For those who could not return home for Tet, the Executive Committee of the trade union planned and prepared vehicles to take the workers home so that they could return home early to celebrate Tet with their families. Each gift given to a union member's family was worth 2,650,000 VND. The union also gave warm blankets and rice to the union members' families.

In addition to giving gifts directly to union members in need at home, the union also gave gifts to all employees in the company, each gift worth 249,500 VND; the total amount of gifts for employees was approximately 9 billion VND. In addition, the Executive Committee of the grassroots union also conducted a statistical review of union members in need who wished to return home for Tet on union buses; then proactively submitted the list to the higher-level union so that employees could travel on free buses to return home for Tet.

According to Mr. Bui Van Truong, the above practical activities have contributed to helping workers gain more confidence and join the Trade Union, building a strong Trade Union in the company. The Chairman of the Trade Union said that the company currently has a total of over 30,000 workers. 100% of the workers in the company are union members...
