After the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union for the term 2026 - 2031, I feel very excited, confident and expect a new stage of development for the Trade Union organization. The Congress not only sets out important goals and tasks for the next term but also gives more motivation to grassroots Trade Union officials like us to continue to strive and innovate to serve union members and workers better and better.
What impressed me most was the directing speech of General Secretary and President To Lam at the Congress. When the General Secretary and President emphasized that the effectiveness of the Trade Union must be measured by the trust of union members, the satisfaction of workers, by successfully protected cases or substantial changes in workers' lives, I think this is a very correct direction and also a requirement for each Trade Union official today.
As Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Long Hanh Thien Ha Co., Ltd., I understand that workers do not need formal movements but need practical companionship, need a Trade Union organization to always be present when they encounter difficulties and obstacles in work and life. Therefore, in the new term, I expect the Trade Union organization to continue to innovate more strongly, directing all activities to the grassroots level, taking the interests of union members and workers as the center.
I believe that with the correct orientations from the 14th Congress, along with the determination of the Trade Union officials at all levels, the Trade Union organization will increasingly affirm its role as a reliable support, a solid bridge between workers and businesses.
