According to Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV), TKV leaders and TKV's affiliated units have just attended the graduation project defense ceremony for the field of Mining Engineering - K66, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and have directly recruited 15 engineers of the field of Mining Engineering immediately after students completed the project defense.
This is a breakthrough in TKV's personnel work, shifting from passively waiting for dossiers to proactively searching, screening and "ordering" talent right from the school seat.
This new approach has brought practical efficiency, right at the ceremony, 15 new engineers (including 12 underground mining engineers and 3 open-pit mining engineers) were officially received by TKV's key coal production units, including: Duong Huy Coal Company, Ha Lam Coal, Mao Khe Coal, Uong Bi Coal, Nam Mau Coal and Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation.
This event aims to concretize the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the University of Mining and Geology and TKV, and at the same time affirm the Group's leadership's special attention to attracting and developing high-quality human resources, affirming that TKV is not only a leading coal production and trading enterprise but also has a high responsibility in building a future management labor force, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's Mining Industry.

According to the cooperation agreement for the period 2025 - 2030 between TKV and the University of Mining and Geology, the two sides will continue to promote cooperation in human resource training and development, scientific research activities, application and technology transfer; expand internship and recruitment opportunities, build and develop scholarship programs for students;....
Previously, in the period 2019 - 2024, TKV received 979 students from the University of Mining and Geology to intern and learn about production reality; 808 students were recruited to work at units under TKV. TKV and its member units have also implemented scholarship programs and financial support for students with a total value of over 1 billion VND.
The school has trained more than 800 masters and 8 doctors for TKV officials; coordinated to organize 31 professional training courses for TKV officials, engineers and employees; chaired the implementation of 8 group-level scientific and technological research projects, with a total value of over 17 billion VND and 106 tasks being research, consulting, technology transfer, production rationalization plans and solutions; coordinated to organize many important scientific conferences and seminars.
