On January 30, CEP Microfinance Organization - Vinh Long Branch officially opened the Tra Vinh Transaction Point, marking an expansion of the network to serve workers and low-income workers in the area.
Tra Vinh transaction point is located at the headquarters of the Tra Vinh Provincial Labor Federation (old), No. 152 Kien Thi Nhan, Nguyet Hoa ward, Vinh Long province. The operation of the transaction point aims to shorten the distance, save time, and create conditions for workers and laborers to promptly access safe microfinance products and services, suitable to actual needs.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Cang - Director of CEP Microfinance Organization, Vinh Long Branch - Tra Vinh transaction point is a necessary step for CEP to expand coverage and accompany workers closer.
Through transaction points, workers can be consulted and guided on loan procedures, savings deposits and participate in community development programs conveniently and transparently, contributing to limiting black credit," Mr. Cang said.
At Tra Vinh transaction point, CEP implements activities according to the State Bank's regulations, including: consulting on credit and savings products; guiding and receiving loan applications; disbursing and recovering loans and savings; receiving customer opinions to improve service. The goal is that by the end of 2029, the transaction point will serve more than 2,500 union members, workers and laborers.
On the occasion of the opening, CEP - Vinh Long Branch awarded loans to 30 customers with a total amount of 440 million VND; and organized the 2026 Customer Conference Program with the theme "CEP Green Credit - Happy Green Fortune Tet", awarding 8 gifts, worth a total of 4 million VND.
The establishment of Tra Vinh transaction point is the result of coordination between CEP, trade union organizations and local authorities, contributing to strengthening care for workers' lives, towards the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
