On October 18, the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City) organized a cooking and flower arrangement contest. This is an activity to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) and care for female workers.
The program was attended by Mr. NoGi Hiro Shi - General Director of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., staff from departments and units in the company. On the side of the grassroots Trade Union, there were Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots Trade Union, along with members of the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee.
Participating in the cooking competition were 36 teams from departments in the company. The flower arrangement contest also has 17 participating teams.

The Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that each team participating in the cooking festival was awarded 600,000 VND by the organizing committee, and each flower arrangement team was awarded 300,000 VND.
The organizing committee invited judges who are experts in the culinary field to arrange flowers to score and talk about this field, providing more information and knowledge for workers.
The contest was very exciting, hundreds of workers enthusiastically participated. Notably, the contest has created a space for workers and employers to be close and share with each other.

At the contest, Mr. NoGi Hiro Shi - General Director of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. was very impressed with the Vietnamese dishes cooked by workers. Mr. NoGi Hiro Shi went to the teams, listening to the teams introduce dishes and judges' reviews. The business leader also enjoyed the dishes cooked by workers and praised them as "very delicious".
According to the company's Trade Union, Mr. NoGi Hiro Shi is a business leader who is very close to workers. Although Mr. NoGi Hiro Shi was very busy, he spent the whole afternoon participating in the contest with the grassroots union and workers.
At the end of the contest, the organizing committee awarded 1.6 million VND to the first prize winning team in cooking and 1 million VND to the first prize winning team in arranging flowers. In addition, the organizing committee also awarded each team participating in the competition 300,000 VND.

It is known that also on the afternoon of October 18, the branch of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. in My Phuoc, Ben Cat (with about 3,000 employees) also organized a cooking and flower arrangement contest for employees.
