It is known that from September 2025 to now, Quang Tri has been continuously affected by storms No. 10, 11, and 12. In storm No. 12 alone, the whole province had 7 deaths, 1 missing person, more than 3,700 households with nearly 12,000 people flooded, hundreds of schools and traffic works, irrigation works, and sea embankments damaged. Estimated damage is about 40 billion VND to union members and workers alone.

Previously, storm No. 10 also caused many union members and workers to have their roofs blown off, their houses collapsed, and their property damaged, 14 businesses were affected with damage of about 10 billion VND. The Trade Union has promptly supported 50 union members and workers who were injured or lost property, each worth 2 million VND, along with 150 million VND for businesses that suffered heavy damage.

Amid the mounting difficulties, the timely sharing of the Trade Union organization has become a valuable spiritual support for workers in flooded areas. Small gifts of great significance not only help them cover their immediate needs but also add confidence to rise up after natural disasters.
