From survey data, the Can Tho City Employment Service Center determined that the job search demand in February was mainly in the untrained level groups (33.68%), University (22.13%) and College accounted for 19.89% of the total job search demand of city workers.
During the month, the city created jobs for 9,846 workers. Accumulated from the beginning of the year to date, the city has created jobs for more than 17,500 workers (reaching over 18% of the annual plan). At the same time, implemented job counseling, employment policies and vocational training for 33, 451 turns of people; introduced jobs at home and abroad for 2, 981 turns of people; provided labor for 595 turns of people.
Through this, it shows that the job connection rate in February 2026 increased compared to January. Specifically, the number of workers consulted for jobs increased by 164.12% compared to the previous month; the number of workers introduced for jobs increased by 25.94% and the number of workers supplied to businesses for recruitment increased by 76.04% compared to January 2026.
