On the afternoon of May 18, at the Hung Dao Ward Cultural House, the program "Green Traffic - Safe Journey - Firm Pioneer" No. 6 organized by Hai Phong City Police in coordination with Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company attracted a large number of people who are employees and workers working at companies and factories in the ward.
At the program, Tien Phong Plastic Joint Stock Company presented 300 standard helmets to people in the commune. Each helmet given is not only a practical gift but also sends a message about awareness of traffic safety compliance, contributing to building a civilized and safer community every day. In addition, it shows the spirit of responsibility, the joint efforts of units and businesses towards the community, contributing to building a safe and civilized traffic culture in the city.
Ms. Thao Thi Pai (from Dien Bien province), a worker at a business in Hung Dao ward, shared: "I find today's program very meaningful and practical for workers like us. Every day going to work by motorbike, receiving a standard helmet not only helps ensure safety when participating in traffic but also shows the concern of levels, sectors and businesses for workers. In particular, through the propaganda part of the Traffic Police force, I was equipped with more useful knowledge about the Road Traffic Law, skills in handling situations when participating in traffic as well as potential risks that easily lead to accidents.
According to Mr. Vu Duc Thien, Vice Chairman of Hung Dao Ward People's Committee, traffic safety is not only the responsibility of functional forces but also the awareness and culture of each citizen. With the characteristics of a densely populated area, many workers, and large traffic volume, Hung Dao ward always identifies propaganda and raising awareness of traffic law compliance as a regular and central task.
Mr. Tran Do Khoa, Chairman of the Trade Union of Tien Phong Plastics Joint Stock Company, said: In 66 years of construction and development, Tien Phong Plastics has not only affirmed its position in the field of construction plastics but also always focused on fulfilling social responsibility, accompanying Hai Phong city in many community welfare activities. In 2026, Tien Phong Plastics is expected to donate 10,000 helmets through 24 "Green Traffic" propaganda sessions at many schools and localities in the city, contributing to further spreading the values of the program, raising traffic participation awareness, joining hands for the safety of people in particular and the social community in general.
