Chairwoman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor Dinh Thi Ngoc Lan said that the Provincial Federation of Labor is implementing activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, contributing to helping workers celebrate a joyful, prosperous and happy New Year.
The "key" program organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor is "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and the 2025 trade union fair will continue to be maintained, expected to take place around mid-January 2025. Here, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize the presentation of 5,500 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with an amount of 2.75 billion VND; support union members to build and repair "Union Shelter" houses, support union members to borrow capital to develop production...
Ms. Lan informed that within the framework, the Trade Union Market will help union members and workers have the opportunity to shop for Tet goods at reasonable prices, quality, and many preferential and discount programs. The booths will have a variety of products from food, foodstuffs; candies, jams, drinks of all kinds for Tet display; to typical products, local OCOP products for buyers to have many choices. Here, the organizing committee will also give at least 200 gifts, each worth 300 thousand VND for workers and laborers to shop. At the same time, "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" this year will be widely organized at all levels of trade unions in the province, focusing on trade unions at the direct superior level and grassroots trade unions at enterprises where there are many union members and laborers.
Trade unions at all levels also proactively use resources to support workers during Tet with necessities, cash, and gifts, with a support level of 500,000 VND/person, and can proactively spend more.
Grasp the salary and bonus regime during Tet holiday
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor and its affiliated grassroots unions will also carry out many other activities to take care of Tet for workers. Organize visits, give gifts, and encourage and wish Tet to union members and workers, including workers who cannot return home for Tet, each gift worth about 1 million VND/person (including cash and gifts); Organize discount booths and free booths to provide essential goods at preferential prices; organize activities to celebrate Spring and Tet, give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; Organize means of transportation, pick-up or support all or part of train, car, and vehicle tickets to bring union members and workers who need to return home for Tet, return to work safely, conveniently, and thoughtfully.
Trade unions at all levels also focus on grasping the situation, inspecting and supervising the implementation of legal regulations on salary and bonus regimes during Tet; promptly detecting and having solutions to ensure the rights of union members and workers in enterprises facing difficulties and unpaid wages...

The Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor added that in order to promptly take care of union members and workers in difficulty during the Lunar New Year 2025, from the beginning of October 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has developed a plan. Effective care models and activities will be maintained and implemented by the Provincial Federation of Labor. Grassroots and affiliated unions will proactively have models suitable to practical conditions, so that the Tet care work is effective and meaningful.
