74 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year with a total value of 125 million VND were awarded by the District 5 Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City to children of workers in difficult circumstances on the afternoon of June 9.
Accordingly, the District 5 Labor Federation awarded 33 scholarships, each worth 1.2 million VND to primary school students; 26 scholarships, each worth 1.5 million VND to secondary school students; 11 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND to high school students and 4 scholarships, each worth 4 million VND to students studying at university.
On this occasion, the District 5 Labor Federation also presented 25 charity savings books, each worth 2 million VND (total value of 50 million VND) to take care of children of employees with metastatic diseases and serious illnesses in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, the District 5 Labor Federation also honored 118 families of cultural, happy and exemplary employees selected from grassroots unions and trade unions under the District 5 Labor Federation and rewarded them with a total budget of nearly 83 million VND.
