Accordingly, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union and the Trade Union of Lam Thao Suppe fosfat and Chemical Joint Stock Company presented funding to support the construction of new Trade Union Shelters for the two union members.
The two union members receiving the support funds are Ms. Do Thi Xuan, a worker at the Electricity and Water Enterprise, and Ms. Hoang Linh Ngoc, a doctor in the Company's Health Department. Each family is supported with 50 million VND.
Both Ms. Do Thi Xuan and Ms. Hoang Linh Ngoc are in difficult circumstances, living in old houses that have seriously degraded. The money supported by the Union contributed to helping women have the conditions to build new, spacious, and safe houses so that they can work with peace of mind.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Trade Union presented a gift worth 3 million VND to each family. On behalf of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong - Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union thanked the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union for its concern for workers over the years, especially in social security work.
Mr. Thong also expressed his hope that in the coming time, he will continue to receive attention and support so that workers can reduce difficulties and have more conditions to stabilize their lives.
