Participating in the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival are over 500 union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD), belonging to 4 direct superior trade unions in Yen Bai province.
With the fine tradition of humanity of our nation "Love others as you love yourself", the activity of donating blood to save people is an extremely noble gesture, with profound humanity. The blood donation means giving hope to live and give strength to many patients who are on the brink between life and death.
Understanding that noble meaning, in recent years, voluntary blood donation has always been enthusiastically and responsibly responded to by all levels of trade unions, union members, and employees in the province.
The number of union members and workers registering to donate blood and the number of blood collected units always exceeds the set target, contributing to overcoming the shortage of blood for treatment for patients.
This is the 6th year that the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor has coordinated to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Program. Promoting the achieved results of 2022 with the participation of 720 volunteers who are employees and collecting 464 units of blood (reaching 155% of the assigned plan).
In 2023, the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival attracted nearly 400 union members and employees, donating 338 units of blood (reaching 260% of the assigned plan).
In 2024, the blood donation festival attracted over 400 employees to participate and collected 426 units of blood (reaching 106.5% of the allocation plan).
Participating in the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival, over 500 union members and workers donated 350 units of blood, reaching 140% of the assigned plan. Thereby, contributing to ensuring blood supply for emergency care and treatment at medical facilities.
Today's festival continues to affirm the pioneering and exemplary role of the Trade Union organization and union members in social activities, for the community. The drops of blood of union members not only save the lives of patients but also contribute to spreading the message of love, connecting hearts and sharing life," the leader of the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor shared.
