The situation of units and enterprises owing social insurance for a long time has significantly affected the rights of thousands of workers. It is worth mentioning that, while units and enterprises still deduct employees' salaries every month to pay social insurance, in reality they do not pay. According to Mr. Son, currently, the handling and collection of social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance arrears for units is facing many difficulties, such as the limited awareness of law compliance of some enterprises, especially non-state enterprises. Most enterprises are too profit-oriented, deliberately do not pay, delay in paying social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance arrears, seriously affecting the rights of employees.
In addition, sanctions for violations are not strong enough, which is also a reason why units and businesses delay paying social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance debts.
In the coming time, Ninh Binh Social Insurance will continue to promote the activities of the Inter-sectoral Working Group established by the Provincial People's Committee and the People's Committees of districts and cities to work directly and guide units to properly implement the provisions of the law on Labor Law, Social Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Health Insurance and Trade Union Law.
