According to the operating plan from September 15 to 20, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor will supervise the implementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and the management and use of trade union finances at three grassroots trade unions, ensuring transparent and effective management.
The steps to establish the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Charity Fund continue to be implemented in accordance with legal regulations, in order to increase resources to care for union members' lives.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has completed the dossier to submit to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor a list of 2 groups and 5 individuals attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress for workers and civil servants, and at the same time proposed to reward 1 group and 1 individual for their excellence in the movement "Good at public work, good at housework" for the period 2020-2025.
Activities to care for union members' lives have been focused on with the handover of 6 Trade Union Shelters, helping workers stabilize their housing and work with peace of mind.
The Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to establish the grassroots trade union of Dream Vinh Long Company Limited, attracting 500 union members to participate, marking a new step in the development of the trade union movement at enterprises.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor issued important guiding documents, including a plan to organize a grassroots trade union congress, guiding the assessment of the quality of collective bargaining and the implementation of collective labor agreements, and at the same time implementing a plan to assess and classify the quality of trade union activities in 2025.
The Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee Conference expanded the preliminary review of trade union activities in the third quarter of 2025, collected comments on the documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party and deployed a plan to organize the grassroots trade union congress towards the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
These activities not only improve the effectiveness of management and care for union members' lives but also prepare the foundation for important events of the provincial union in the coming time.
