On December 6, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor said that Ha Tinh 10 Garment Enterprise (Vung Ang Economic Zone) is applying a series of strong compensation policies to attract skilled workers and retain nearly 400 workers.
Accordingly, in addition to the average income of 8 million VND/month and full social insurance contributions, the factory supports shift meals, provides more protective equipment, and organizes free periodic health check-ups for workers.
Notably, to solve the travel problem, the unit paid for gasoline per km to workers nearby and hired 5 cars to pick up and drop off workers far away for free.
During the hot season, the factory arranges additional factory cooling systems and supports 150,000 VND/person/month for workers to buy hats, masks, and refreshment. At the beginning of the new school year, each worker is supported with 2 million VND for their children's education costs.
The enterprise is also investing in workers' housing areas and supporting 300,000 - 500,000 VND/month for rental. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, employees are rewarded with 1 month's salary, a Tet gift of VND 500,000 and a lucky draw on the first working day of the year. Policies are considered rare in textile and garment enterprises in Ha Tinh today.
