Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has just completed a new funding round worth 30 billion USD, raising the valuation to about 380 billion USD, more than double that of before.
The deal shows the special interest of investors in the field of generative AI and advanced language models.
The funding round was announced by D.E. Shaw Ventures, ICONIQ and MGX co-led, and included a portion of previously announced investments from Microsoft and Nvidia. Previously, in early September, Anthropic raised $13 billion in Series F with a valuation of $183 billion, showing rapid growth in just a few months.
Anthropic is the developer of Claude chatbot, nổi bật thanks to focusing heavily on training models specializing in programming. Claude Code product is attracting a large number of developers and businesses, helping the company create a competitive advantage in the enterprise AI market.
According to the announcement, Anthropic's current annual revenue is estimated at 14 billion USD. Claude Code alone recorded annual revenue exceeding 2.5 billion USD, more than doubling since the beginning of 2026.
Notably, the number of business users registering Claude Code has quadrupled since the beginning of the year, and currently this customer group contributes more than half of the product's total revenue.

In the context of fierce competition, Anthropic is emerging as a significant counterweight to OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT. OpenAI may be valued at about 830 billion USD within the negotiation framework for SoftBank Group to invest an additional 30 billion USD.
Not only focusing on trade growth, Anthropic also expresses a clear stance on AI management. The company said it will spend $20 million to support political candidates in the US who support adjusting the AI industry.
In its latest statement, Anthropic emphasized that artificial intelligence development companies are responsible for ensuring technology serves public interests, rather than just pursuing profits.
With a valuation of 380 billion USD and impressive revenue growth, Anthropic is becoming one of the focuses of the global AI investment wave, while contributing to shaping the technology race in the new stage.
