Apple has just officially released the iOS 26 Beta 2 update with many notable refinements, especially the Liquid Glass interface improvement - one of the biggest aesthetic changes announced at WWDC 2025.
Liquid Glass is considered a new iconic design language on iOS 26, with a flexible and in-depth liquid glasses simulation effect. This interface is introduced by Apple as an aesthetic advance that brings a higher, more vivid interactive feeling to the iPhone.
However, after the first iOS 26 Beta version was released, many users and developers have reported that Liquid Glass's transparency makes some icon difficult to see, causing eye strain if the background is complicated.
In response, Apple adjusted the back of the control center, making it more congested, improving contrast.
After this adjustment, users continue to have mixed reactions. Mr. Trong Hieu (Dong Da District, Hanoi) assessed that the interface is less confusing. Hopefully Apple will continue to improve and upgrade the interface from now until iOS 26 is officially launched.
Meanwhile, Mr. Le Manh Cuong (Thu Duc City) said that this adjustment makes the iOS 26 interface almost similar to iOS 18. "I think Apple can let users automatically adjust the smoothness of buttons in the settings, just like the % option to increase or decrease the screen light temperature," Mr. Cuong emphasized.
In addition to the Liquid Glass change, iOS 26 Beta 2 also brings some other upgrades such as the new bell Reflection alt 1, widget Radio for Apple Music, and recovery Assistant to make iPhone recovery easier when there is a software error.
iOS 26 may continue to be refined through further beta versions, before becoming an official release in September along with the iPhone 17 series.
