Apple Intelligence Overview
Apple Intelligence, launched from iOS 18.1 (October 2024), brings AI features such as Visual Intelligence, Writing Tools, Image Playground, Genmoji, and Notification Summaries. The old iPhone 16 Pro, thanks to the A18 Pro chip and 8GB RAM, runs these features smoothly, although some (such as the upgraded Siri) are delayed until 2026.

Outstanding features
- Visual Intelligence: Press the Camera Control button to analyze the image, identify locations, letters on the menu, or look up information. Suitable for traveling, but not ideal for crowded scenery.
- Writing Tools: Support text editing, summarization, or voice changes. For example, you can summarize your long email or write a more polite message.
- Notification Summaries: Summary of notifications from group chats, emails, or apps. It is very convenient if you receive dozens of Zalo and WhatsApp messages every day.
- Image Playground & Genmoji: Create custom photos or emoji from text description. Interesting but little practical application in Vietnam.
- Improved Siri: Currently only integrates ChatGPT, there is no smart upgrade as WWDC 2024 promises.
Most useful feature: Notification Summaries
Of these, Notification Summaries is the most practical feature. Vietnamese people often use many messaging apps such as Zalo, Messenger, and WhatsApp, leading to hundreds of notifications on iPhone 16 Pro every day. Notification Summaries automatically summarizes the main content, for example: Saturday Night appointment group for coffee instead of displaying each message. This saves time and reduces stress when managing notifications. The feature works from iOS 18.1, without a separate app update, and works on the old iPhone 16 Pro.
