Users can now create widgets themselves to follow their favorite football team or tournament, just by slightly switching on the screen to see the score, statistics, match schedule and more information.
Widget is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. In addition, the Live Activities tool has also been upgraded: users can now schedule live watching of sporting events right from the iPhone lock screen or on Apple Watch.
In particular, there is no limit on the number of widgets, allowing fans to comfortably follow multiple teams and tournaments at the same time.
In addition, Apple Sports has recently added tennis data and match result sharing cards.
This update comes on the same week as Apple's major event. iOS 26 officially launched, bringing a new image interface, an upgraded camera application, AI tools and many other improvements to the iPhone.
By continuously expanding its scope and upgrading features, Apple is showing its ambition to turn Apple Sports into a central sports application for global users, not only meeting the need to see quick scores but also becoming a direct bridge between technology and sports enthusiasts.
