At a recent Q4/2025 income reporting meeting, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company is still making good progress in developing a new generation Siri, expected to launch in 2026.
He emphasized that Apple is ready to conduct mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic cooperation to promote the roadmap for the development of AI.
Responding to an investor's question, Tim Cook affirmed that Apple continues to pursue a three-pronged strategy of developing the AI model internally, cooperating with third-party LLM suppliers, and conducting potential M&A deals.
We are always monitoring the market and ready to act if we see an opportunity to promote our AI goals, said Tim Cook.
Previously, in an interview with CNBC, Apple CEO revealed that Apple will soon announce more AI partners, expanding the relationship after integrating OpenAI's ChatGPT into Siri and Apple Intelligence. Apple's goal is to partner with more partners over time.
Apple is also investing heavily in Private Cloud Compute, a private cloud platform designed to handle AI queries securely.
Tim Cook said the technology has been used in some Siri queries, and the company is expanding its infrastructure with a new server factory in Houston (USA).
According to him, AI is not only a long-term strategy but also directly affects consumer behavior.
Apple Intelligence is becoming an important factor as users choose new smartphones, and we believe its impact will grow, Cook stressed.
