Apple is having a rather slow start in 2026 when it has only launched the new AirTag version and a special Apple Watch strap.
Many expected products have not yet appeared, including MacBook Pro using M5 Pro/M5 Max chip, iPhone 17e, a cheap MacBook using iPhone chip, along with rumored upgrades for Apple TV and HomePod mini, besides many other devices.
According to sources, Apple is expected to release or update the following products in the first half of 2026:
iPhone 17e: Configuration upgraded version of iPhone 16e, with rumors about A19 chip, MagSafe support, and wireless chips designed by Apple itself. The device is said to still use rabbit ears, contrary to previous rumors about Dynamic Island.
iPad Air: Upgrade from M3 to M4 chip.
Upgrade from A16 to A18 or A19.
Switching from M4 Pro/M4 Max to M5 Pro/M5 Max
MacBook Air: Upgrade from M4 to M5.
Cheap MacBook: Using A18 Pro chip, 12.9-inch screen, many youthful colors.
Mac Studio: Upgrade from M4 Max and M3 Ultra to M5 Max and M5 Ultra.

Home Hub: Completely new smart home center, equipped with a more personalized Siri version, 6-7-inch square screen, A18 chip supporting Apple Intelligence, FaceTime calls and many other features. The device can be placed on a table or wall-mounted.
Security camera: Security camera accessories designed by Apple, support HomeKit, sold with the new Home Hub.
In addition, Apple TV and HomePod mini were rumored to be upgraded in 2025 but have not yet taken place, so it is likely to appear in the first half of 2026.
Overall, despite a rather quiet start to 2026, Apple is expected to soon "get into gear" in the coming months with a dense product range ranging from iPhone, iPad, Mac to the smart home ecosystem.
If the leaked information becomes a reality, the first half of 2026 will be the period when Apple simultaneously upgrades hardware, laying the foundation for Apple Intelligence and Siri personalization, thereby creating momentum for a more vibrant product cycle in the second half of the year.
