Apple has just been sued in a US federal court for false advertising allegedly related to a series of features of the Apple Intelligence toolkit.
The lawsuit was filed in the Federal District Court in San Jose, seeking recognition of the case as a class action lawsuit and compensation for damages to those who purchased devices with Apple Intelligence.
The plaintiff said that users of these devices have not experienced the Apple Intelligence features as promised.
Apples ad has created a clear expectation in consumers that these revolutionary features will be available as soon as the iPhone is launched.
Contrary to Apple's claim to have advanced AI capabilities, physical products only provide limited editions, causing consumers to misunderstand the true usefulness and performance of the product," the plaintiffs said.
This is the latest legal trouble Apple has faced as it struggles to bring Apple Intelligence features to the market.
According to Bloomberg, CEO Tim Cook is said to have losed confidence in the product development capabilities of the AI leader - Mr. John Giannandrea.
