On the afternoon of August 13, Ca Mau Provincial Police organized a meeting and launched the Ca Mau Digital Belief Club - KOL with 40 members.
The club was established to connect functional forces with influential people on social networks (KOL), administrators of associations, groups, experts and technology businesses. Through this, the model aims to spread official information, improve digital skills and contribute to building a safe and healthy cyberspace.
At the conference, delegates exchanged views on the role and responsibility of KOLs, network community administrators and solutions to ensure safety in the digital transformation process.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Minh Kim - Deputy Head of Department 3, Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Ministry of Public Security) - said that the strong development of artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way information is produced, received and shared, and at the same time posing higher requirements for verifying information sources and identifying false information.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Minh Kim, with its influence on public awareness, KOLs not only convey content but also must promote social responsibility, ensure accurate, transparent and verified information before sharing.
Trust is the foundation of digital society," Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Minh Kim emphasized, and at the same time requested the Club to continue to promote the role of connecting KOLs, experts, technology businesses and functional forces; proactively spread positive information, and raise community awareness.
Colonel Le Manh Hung - Deputy Director of Ca Mau Provincial Police - said that the conference provided information on guidelines, policies, and laws in protecting network security; prohibited acts in cyberspace; codes of conduct, statements of KOLs and page and group management skills.
Colonel Le Manh Hung emphasized that the 40 key members of the Club are the core and core force contributing to building the movement "All people protect national security" in cyberspace.
Provincial Police leaders requested KOLs and Club members to proactively coordinate to spread official information, identify early and contribute to preventing remote risks and violations in cyberspace.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to establish the Ca Mau Digital Belief Club and launch the fanpage "CA MAU DIGITAL BELIEFS" on Facebook. This will be a channel to provide information, warn about fraud tricks, disseminate legal knowledge and guide skills in using social networks safely and responsibly.
