How to secure online with anonymousness and VPNs in a privacy protection strategy

Cát Tiên |

To truly protect privacy, users need to clearly understand the limits of reputation and VPNs to prevent traces of their web browsers.

Aname in browsers is often seen as a shield to help users keep their online activities confidential.

However, this feature only protects privacy at a basic level and cannot make users completely invisible on the internet.

Understanding what "anime" can and cannot be hidden is necessary to avoid revealing unwanted information.

When opening the Anname window, the browser will create a temporary session separated from the user's identification file.

During this session, web browsing history, cookies, and website data will not be temporarily saved to the browser. This is very useful when using public computers, shared devices or when users do not want to save automatic search and login recommendations.

Ending the session of anonymousness by closing all related windows will temporarily delete all data including cookies, form entry, and content on the address bar.

However, this is actually just a local protective layer, meaning that only those who share the same device cannot see what you have accessed.

On the other hand, the "anime" mode cannot hide web browsing activities from the internet service provider, school, agency network or websites you access.

Your IP address is still displayed. The downloaded files also stay on the device and any page stamp added in the session will still be saved permanently.

This means that anime only helps with traces not saved on the device, not helps you hide online.

To completely erase the traces of using "anime", users need to take some additional steps. First of all, close all the "fence" windows to submit for approval at the end of the temporary session.

Then, check and delete the downloaded files if you want them to disappear from the device. Next, go to the page manager to delete the bookmarks created in the session.

Finally, users can delete the middleware or clean the DNS with the ipconfig /flushdns command (on Windows) to delete the domain name truyers.

In cases where higher security is needed, such as journalists, researchers or users who want to avoid following the network, the famous mode is not enough.

At that time, VPNs will be browsers focusing on privacy or cookies management utilities will be a more suitable choice. These tools help hide IP addresses, encrypt transmission lines, and minimize third-party tracking.

Combining the correct use of identification with additional security methods will help users better control their digital traces, avoiding information disclosure when browsing the website.
