On the morning of December 1 at Suoi Dau Industrial Park, the Industrial Park Trade Union in coordination with the Economic Security Department (Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) and the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund presented support gifts to 300 union members and workers who were severely affected by the recent floods.
According to the Organizing Committee, each gift includes essential necessities, a total cost of 60 million VND, along with 100 boxes of cough medicine contributed by benefactors.
All were given directly to workers whose houses were flooded or whose property was damaged by natural disasters.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Tam - Deputy Head of the Economic Security Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police - said that during the flood, the police force in the whole province mobilized troops to support people in response and overcoming the consequences.
Accompanying and sharing with workers in industrial parks aims to help workers soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind again.
