On the afternoon of October 8, at the Forum "Cryptographic asset policy dialogue: From risk management to market creation" held at the Da Nang City Administrative Center, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee gave a speech on Da Nang's orientation in building a safe, transparent and effective testing environment for digital asset solutions, contributing to the development of the national digital economy.
According to Mr. Ho Ky Minh, the forum is not only a professional event, but also an important milestone, affirming the determination of Vietnam in general and Da Nang City in particular in proactively grasping new technology trends, especially in the field of digital assets and blockchain.
Through the process of enthusiastic exchanges and discussions, the forum has achieved three important results, creating a foundation for the next steps.
Mr. Minh said that, with the aspiration to become a smart city, a startup center for creativity in the region, Da Nang will study the proposed ideas of speakers and delegates on a suitable pilot mechanism (Sandbox) to allow digital asset solutions and blockchain technology to have the opportunity to be tested safely in the real environment of Da Nang, especially at the Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang,
"The city aims to become a safe, transparent and effective testing environment for the digital asset market in Vietnam, contributing positively to the development of the national digital economy," emphasized the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City.
At the same time, through today's forum, Da Nang also hopes that the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Security, the State Securities Commission, the Vietnam Blockchain Association and the business community will continue to accompany and support the city in developing digital asset services; creating a sustainable digital asset ecosystem; training high-quality human resources in the field of digital assets; fostering knowledge for investors; and strengthening the work of preventing money laundering, fraud, forgery, and fraud related to digital assets.
"Da Nang City is committed to always accompanying and closely coordinating with central ministries, branches and the business community, creating an increasingly complete legal corridor, so that Resolution 05/2025/NQ-CP of the Government can quickly be put into practice, bringing practical results to the people and the economy", Mr. Ho Ky Minh emphasized.
