On December 1, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had submitted a document to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the investment policy for the project to build an interactive application to serve the people of Khanh Hoa province (KhanhHoa Citizen) with a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND.
According to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, the construction and putting into use of the KhanhHoa Citizen app (2024-2025) serves people, businesses, officials, civil servants, public employees, citizens of Khanh Hoa province living outside the province and abroad, tourists, investors inside and outside the province.
This will be an application that connects, integrates and directly uses data shared from national databases, platform, shared and specialized information systems across the province to provide socio-economic information, public administrative services, public services, open data services, personal data warehouses, etc.
Regarding the scale of investment, Khanh Hoa will build the KhanhHoa Citizen app to provide features, services, and utilities on mobile devices; organize the integration of the province's digital applications and services into the KhanhHoa Citizen app to form a centralized, single application of the province providing digital services and utilities for people, businesses, tourists, investors, etc.
In particular, the locality expects to integrate with the Khanh Hoa province's electronic identification and authentication platform to unify the province's interactive applications, forming a model to provide multi-layered utilities on the KhanhHoa Citizen app.
The new digital citizen application has been operating for 2 months.
In early October 2024, the Khanh Hoa Digital Citizen app officially went into operation. The application was born with the expectation of providing diverse and latest information from the government with more than 40 public services and useful digital utilities serving activities in the digital environment, digital experiences of people, businesses, tourists and the government.
According to the report of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee, in the period of 2023 - 2025, the whole province has 35 projects and 137 information technology and digital transformation tasks.
The total budget for digital transformation activities expected to be implemented in the 2023 - 2025 period is more than 1,700 billion VND. The total budget expected in 2023 is 260 billion VND.
