On the morning of June 3, the Vietnam Information Technology Software and Services Association (VINASA) opened the Biztech Vietnam 2025 Conference and Exhibition with the theme "optimization - Breakthrough growth with AI Agents".
Sharing at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Chairman of VINASA said that Resolution 68 of the Politburo affirmed that the private economy is an important driving force of the economy. Vietnam aims to have 2 million enterprises by 2030, contributing about 55-58% of GDP, 35-40% of total state budget revenue, creating jobs for about 84-85% of total labor, labor productivity increasing by an average of 8.5-9.5% per year.
"When the country rises, the driving force is the enterprise, if the enterprise wants to rise, optimizing breakthrough growth, it must rely on science, technology and innovation. Never before has science and technology and digital transformation been placed at the center as it is today in the national development strategy, said Mr. Khoa.
Mr. Khoa highly appreciated the role of artificial intelligence (AI Agents) for today's businesses. He also pointed out some examples of how AI Agents have penetrated the operations of businesses.
In Ho Chi Minh City, an advertising company is reducing staff by 70%, a book company saves 30% on editing costs thanks to AI. Banks are closing many transaction offices and customer service departments. Even a technology company must buy 5 AI applications at a time to be able to meet the current workload.
In the face of the widespread application of AI in businesses, it requires workers to change. AI does not steal anyones work, but humans have to equip themselves with luggage to work with machines. Previously, working with machines was simple, but now with generative AI, it is like an individual accompanying us.
If in the past, when applying for a job, in the application, workers had to know how to use words, excel... but now the application must know how to use AI, apply AI", Mr. Khoa raised the issue.
Biztech Vietnam 2025 will take place on June 3 and 4, designed by VINASA as an action platform to concretize the policies and guidelines of the Party and the Government. This is an annual program, promoting digital transformation and technology transformation for the business community, especially small and medium enterprises - the driving force for economic development.
This year's program brings together more than 2,000 delegates from nearly 20 provinces and cities across the country, more than 40 prestigious speakers sharing trends and practical experiences in AI implementation, 22 exhibition booths with the latest AI application products and solutions, and delegates from 5 countries.
