Google has just updated a new feature for Gemini in Google Drive on the web, allowing users to summarize content and ask questions related to videos. After opening the video playback, users can tap the Gemini icon in the right corner to access this feature.
Users will receive a Summary of Content section with suggestions such as Show the main ideas, List of actions to be taken which is especially useful for companies that often record meetings.
Users can also ask, What is the highlight? or ask more specific questions about the video content.
This feature continues Gemini's ability to analyze PDF files. Google said: video contains a lot of information, but reviewing is often time-consuming. With this update, users can take advantage of Gemini to grasp content faster.
In addition, Google Drive also added the Analysis section in the Details table, displaying the total number of times the video was opened.
With this new step, Google continues to expand the capabilities of artificial intelligence in the digital working ecosystem, helping users save time, increase efficiency and easily exploit knowledge from previous formats that were more difficult to process.
Integrating video analytics into Drive not only serves business needs but also opens up many potential for AI application in education, communication and digital content management in the near future.
