Google adds new features to Chrome on computers

QUANG MINH |

The Chrome computer browser has just been updated by Google with some notable features.

The split screen feature allows users to open and use two tabs in parallel in the same window. According to Google, this is an integrated tool, helping to do multitasking more flexibly and seamlessly. Users just need to tap the split icon on the toolbar to activate this mode.

With the PDF annotation feature, the integrated PDF viewer in Chrome can now highlight text, insert signatures and add notes directly on documents, instead of having to use third-party software.

In addition, Chrome also adds the option to save files directly to Google Drive to help users manage downloaded files more conveniently.

PDF files can be saved directly to Google Drive from Chrome without downloading and reloading. These files will be automatically saved in the "Saved from Chrome" folder on Google Drive.

This update move shows that Google is gradually turning Chrome into a more comprehensive work center, instead of just a simple web browsing tool.

Deep integration of multitasking support features, document editing and synchronization with the cloud storage ecosystem can help users save time, reduce dependence on external applications and improve work performance right in the browser.
