Hai Duong exempts all fees and charges for online public services from July 1

Hai Duong - From July 1, 2025, Hai Duong will officially exempt all fees and charges for online public services.

At the recent 31st session (special session), the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution regulating the fee and charge levels for online public service provision in the province.

According to this Resolution, organizations and individuals who carry out administrative procedures through online public services will not have to pay any fees or charges - the fee is stipulated as 0 VND. Thus, all administrative procedures performed online will be free of charge, with full fees.

The tax exemption aims to encourage people and businesses to increase the use of online public services, contributing to promoting administrative reform and digital transformation in the operations of state agencies.

The Resolution also clearly defines the responsibilities of relevant parties, including: organizations and individuals using online public services; state agencies, public service units, organizations assigned to provide online public services and other relevant organizations and individuals.

Other contents related to the collection, payment, management and use of fees not mentioned in this Resolution will continue to be implemented in accordance with the Law on Fees and Fees and current legal documents.

The Resolution takes effect from July 1, 2025, and at the same time replaces Resolution No. 06/2023/NQ-HDND dated July 13, 2023 on online public service fee collection in Hai Duong province.
