Ozlo - a startup founded by former Bose employees, known for sleep-supporting Sleepbuds headphones, is gradually transforming into a technology platform. This plan started from a cooperation agreement with the Calm meditation and sleep support application, then was promoted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas when the company contacted many new partners.
At CES 2026, the company showed its goal of building a sleep care data and service platform, combining artificial intelligence and long-term registration models.
According to Ozlo, expanding cooperation will help the company reach more customer groups and build new revenue sources, not just relying on device sales. Software services, healthcare packages and high-end AI-based features are expected to bring more stable profits than traditional hardware.
Sharing on the sidelines of CES, Mr. NB Patil - co-founder and CEO of Ozlo said that from the beginning, the company oriented itself to build an open ecosystem. Ozlo developed software tools for iOS and Android, allowing partners to directly integrate data from Sleepbuds devices into their applications.
Sensors on Ozlo headphones and chargers can track body movements, breathing, light, and ambient temperature. This data is processed using machine learning algorithms to determine whether users are sleeping or just relaxing. Thanks to that, applications like Calm can assess whether meditation or sleep support is really effective. However, Ozlo said that the two sides have not yet shared user data.
Not stopping there, Ozlo is developing treatment tools for tinnitus, a problem affecting about 15% of the company's customers. In 2025, the company coordinated with Walter Reed Hospital to conduct clinical research and is expected to implement registered treatment packages from the second quarter of 2026.
In parallel with product expansion, Ozlo is stepping up its acquisition strategy. The acquisition of a neurotechnology company in Ireland is expected to help the company go deeper into the medical device sector. According to Mr. Patil, Ozlo is completing the Series B funding round to serve growth plans in the coming period.
