In recent years, implementing the Party and State's orientation on the policy of promoting the development of Vietnamese enterprises to design, innovate and produce in Vietnam, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has chaired the annual National Forum on the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.
On December 22, 2024, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, including the viewpoint of mastering technology and strategic technology mastering tasks. The birth of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo is a guideline and enlightenment for all industries, not only promoting and changing the nature of operations but also having a profound impact on the Vietnamese digital technology business community.
In order to implement the General Secretary's major policies and orientations on mastering digital technology and the digital transformation revolution, and the Prime Minister's direction on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises, the Ministry of Information and Communications continues to organize the 6th National Forum on Developing Vietnamese Digital Technology Enterprises with the theme: "Mastering digital technology, mastering the process of digital transformation in Vietnam by Vietnamese digital technology enterprises".
The Forum's goal is to deliver messages from the Party, Government, and Prime Minister on developing Vietnamese technology enterprises to master digital technology, strategic technology, and propose strategic tasks to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, entering the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
This forum will have many contents, including evaluating the implementation process of the Make in Vietnam policy, developing Vietnamese digital technology enterprises associated with mastering digital technology, strategic technology, implementing key national tasks on digital transformation in the recent period; impressive results and achievements of the Vietnamese digital technology business community.
In addition, there will be an orientation to master digital technology, promote Vietnamese digital technology enterprises to create digital products, master the national digital transformation process, contributing to improving the competitiveness of the economy; policies to develop the digital technology industry and Vietnam's semiconductor industry in the coming period.
This forum will have a message about new policies on digital technology industry (Law on Digital Technology Industry) and orientation for the development of Vietnam's semiconductor industry, opening up development space for digital technology enterprises; Calling on the Vietnamese digital technology business community to join hands in the national digital transformation revolution.
Also at this forum, many contents will be discussed, especially orientations, policies and development solutions in the coming period regarding the semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence, to recommend the Vietnamese Government to build breakthrough institutions and policies to provide incentives, support, encouragement and call for the gathering of strength from the Government to society in developing digital technology enterprises.
The forum will also propose research and mastery of digital technology to help accelerate the digital transformation revolution and bring Vietnam to a breakthrough in the new era.
