Science and technology open a new direction for proactive healthcare

Faced with the increase in non-communicable diseases, the application of scientific and technological achievements in healthcare is being promoted.

Science needs to go from research to application

On July 23, the Launching Ceremony of Green20S Geleximco Molecular Biofuel Station took place in Hanoi.

Sharing at the event, Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phai said that in the context of non-communicable diseases, population aging and increasing pressure of modern life, proactive healthcare is becoming a trend of concern to many countries.

He said that instead of just focusing on treatment when the disease appears, many studies have shown that maintaining the balance of the body, building a healthy lifestyle and early detection of risk factors are important in improving the quality of life and reducing the burden of disease.

According to Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phai, many years of research on living activities at the molecular level show that the human body is a unified system, in which cells, enzymes and organs are always closely related to each other. When the balance of the system is broken for a long time, disorders will gradually appear and affect overall health.

From this perspective, he believes that health care needs to be done right from when the body is still healthy, through a reasonable diet, scientific exercise, adequate rest and maintaining a positive mental state.

Science is only truly meaningful when research results are applied to life, helping people understand health more accurately and have more conditions to proactively protect their own health. Each research project needs to aim to create practical values that can spread and serve the community," said Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phai.

According to him, along with the development of science and technology, the formation of application models will contribute to shortening the gap between research and practice, creating conditions for people to access scientific knowledge in an intuitive, easy-to-understand and easier-to-apply way in daily life.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Tran Thanh Viet - General Director of VBeauty Ecosystem - said that the idea of building the Green20S Molecular Biofuel Station model originated from the desire to bring scientific research results closer to the community through an accessible form.

According to Ms. Viet, the goal of the model is not to replace the role of the medical examination and treatment system but to contribute to creating an additional channel for people to access scientific knowledge, better understand their bodies and gradually build a healthy lifestyle.

I hope this is not only a place to provide services but also a space for each person to better understand their health, thereby proactively changing their daily habits to improve the quality of life," Ms. Tran Thanh Viet shared.
