For those who are not logged in, the system will display a greeting line Hello Gemini, your personal AI assistant instead of Hello as before same as Google Search works.
However, some enhanced features still require login. Although the board selects a model that displays options such as "2.0 Flash Thinking," "Deep Research," and " Personalization," users need to log in to use the latest models. When you are not logged in, you can only use the Gemini 2.0 Flash version.
In addition, uploading files and accessing chat history also requires a Google account.
