Phia - an online shopping support tool, currently available as an extension utility and browser application, allows users to compare product prices on many different platforms, including used goods.
Not only stopping at price comparisons, Phia is developing an AI shopping consulting tool. This feature helps users better understand the value and suitability of the product, including the cheap price factor, product value and scale based on the previous purchase and return history.
The founders say the size suggestion feature is currently in beta testing for a limited group of users. With the AI feature of shopping consulting and price comparison, consumers can find the most suitable choice for prices, while contributing to reducing the environmental impact of new commodity consumption.
The startup said it has integrated more than 150 secondhand shopping platforms, with more than 350 million items indexed in an internal database.
Ms. Sophia Kianni (co-founder of Phia) explained that the Phia platform provides information to help buyers evaluate the product's price-playing ability.
If you look at a $500 handbag, Phia can tell you if it can be resold for $300 or $400. Conversely, if it is a $100-dollar fast fashion item, you will immediately see a 90% chance of losing value, added Ms. Kianni.
With this direction, Phia not only provides a convenient shopping tool but also contributes to reshaping modern consumption habits - where value, sustainability and environmental awareness become priority factors.
