Since October 2023, Da Nang City has focused on developing human resources in semiconductors and artificial intelligence, in conjunction with cooperation with large, reputable domestic and foreign enterprises and partners. Thereby, attracting investment, training human resources and forming a microchip, semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystem in the city.
"Da Nang Semiconductor Day 2024" facilitates connection between state management agencies, training and supply facilities and human resource users in the semiconductor industry, aiming to build the brand of Da Nang - the semiconductor center of the Central region of Vietnam.
In addition, the event promotes the potential, advantages, and investment opportunities of Da Nang City in the field of semiconductors for domestic and foreign enterprises, investors, and international organizations to choose and decide to invest, and to attract domestic and foreign investment resources, especially foreign direct investment (FDI).
At the event, Da Nang will publicize information on preferential policies and investment support for strategic investors and strategic partners in the semiconductor microchip sector.
Provide information on the current situation and development orientation of the semiconductor microchip sector; create a forum for exchange, discussion, and proposal of solutions and policies for the development of the semiconductor microchip sector in the city.
On August 30, the event took place in two main sessions: Danang Semiconductor Investment Promotion Conference and Danang Semiconductor Human Resource Supply and Demand Connection Conference.
