Apple is expected to launch a completely new version of Siri around March next year. This update will come with a new smart display device, with the option of wall mounting or placement on the base of the built-in speaker.
In addition, the new generation Apple TV and HomePod mini expected to launch in the near future will also be used to "perform" improved artificial intelligence (AI) and Siri features.
Notably, the new Siri will be based on Google's Gemini platform, which integrates AI-powered web search.
However, leaked sources note that there is no guarantee that users will receive enthusiasm, or Siri will work perfectly and erase negative impressions accumulated over the years.
The partnership with Google to leverage the power of the Gemini model shows that Apple is ready to change its closed AI strategy, towards a more practical and useful experience for users.
However, success still depends on Apple's ability to convince users to believe that the new Siri is not only "smarter" but also really useful in daily life.
At the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2026, Apple is expected to launch iOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27 and a series of new operating systems, all focusing on major improvements to Apple Intelligence and its overall AI strategy.
