
The event is chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology, within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The exhibition recreates the 50-year journey of contributions from the science and technology, post and telecommunications sectors through three pillars: science and technology - innovation - digital transformation, affirming the fundamental role and key driving force in the country's development.
The exhibition space is designed according to the historical flow with a central area and 5 content subdivisions: from the period of national resistance war (1945 - 1954), liberation of the South and building socialism in the North (1954 - 1975), the period before the Doi Moi (1975 - 1986), the period of Doi Moi and integration (1986 - 2025) to the new era after 2025. The exhibition zones combine images, artifacts, documents, search engines and digital data to bring a modern, interactive experience to visitors.
The exhibition introduces many typical artifacts, works and products in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. From military inventions during the resistance war, works that won the Ho Chi Minh Prize, to "Make in Vietnam" technology products, artificial intelligence, VINASAT satellites, 5G technology, robots, electric vehicles, smart devices, etc.
In parallel with the exhibition activities, on the morning of August 29, the Forum "Future of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation" will take place at VEC.
