On October 8 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and VietTimes Electronic Magazine held the Vietnam Digital Transformation Awards 2025.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Center was honored in the category of "Outstanding digital transformation unit" with the Digital Identification solution and Nguyen Dynasty Antiquities Exhibition.
This is an important step in applying technology to heritage conservation, helping each antique be associated with a unique identification code, digitized in 3D and stored on blockchain, ensuring authenticity and high security.
The digital exhibition system at museehue.vn also applies VR/AR, Metaverse and physical technology, bringing a vivid heritage experience that transcends the limits of space and time.
From 10 pilot antiques in 2024, the Center has now expanded the identification of 98 more antiques, forming 10 digital exhibition rooms. The People's Committee of Hue City has also approved the digital identification policy for nearly 1,000 artifacts in the next phase, demonstrating the proactiveness and capacity to apply digital transformation in heritage conservation.
